CIWEM NI Annual Conference
We were delighted to be invited to present at the CIWEM NI Branch Event in September in Belfast.
The CIWEM Northern Ireland branch held their annual conference on 28 September. This year it was a joint event with the CIWEM Urban Drainage Group reviewing storm overflows throughout the UK and Europe and discussing how the wastewater industry is adapting to the challenges, both technical, innovative and strategic whilst striving for net zero.
Our CEO Brian Moloney presented during the Innovation segment, with a talk focused on how we have used AI to identify Inflow & Infiltration for several UK wastewater utilities. From this, we have been able to accurately categorise the driving factor behind spills at each site.
It was a very interesting event with opportunities to network with experts in the wastewater industry.
