Active Attenuation System
This recently redeveloped site in Cockfosters, North London required 3,000L of attenuation to satisfy a SUDS related planning condition. The property owner also requested that a rainwater harvesting system would be installed on the redeveloped site. Given that limited space was available on-site a StormHarvester active attenuation system was installed to ensure that one 3,000L rainwater harvesting tank could be used for both storm attenuation and rainwater harvesting.
The StormHarvester Control system ensures a reduction in the public water consumption on-site and associated reduction on the site’s water charges. It also ensures a reduction in the volume of stormwater discharged from the site into the local sewer network.
