Who we are
StormHarvester was founded by Brian Moloney, a civil engineer who spent his early career in wastewater design and hydraulic modeling. He saw that utilities already had the data to prevent flooding and pollution, but no practical way to use it.
Since the platform launched in 2016, it has been adopted by major water utilities across the UK, Australia and New Zealand, and now analyzes data from more than 400,000 sensors. In 2025 StormHarvester raised £8.4M (about $10.2M) in Series A funding to expand internationally, including into the US.
